Cedar is best for kindling in my area. Burns hot and fast.

Same here. My boy and I split a half pickup load of cedar kindling this fall so we should be good for quite some time.

Do you use lots of kindling for the sauna? I wouldn't know what to do with a half pickup load of kindling!

Well not a lot but I had scrounged up some cedar last fall and it was piled in the way this fall so we split it up. I'll build a rack for it and it will be there till it's all gone.

Sometimes I burn uglies and junk in the sauna stove (no worries about chimney fire there) and I'll use extra kindling to get that crap going.
