Cutting a 40" maple, this was stuck in the crotch for who knows how long. By the time I noticed it ripped a bunch of teeth off

Ouch! Seeing all these posts has started to make me wonder if I should by a cheap metal detector! :chainsaw:

Well, at least you got a nice wrench out of the deal, right?
Sorry, just kidding.
Im just glad that you didnt get hurt hitting that much metal.

Wow. My chains have seen embedded barbed wire more times than I'd like to admit, but never a pipe wrench. That's a helluva find.

Wow, what a biatch. I feel sorry for that chain and saw and your wallet. Oh well, as long as you didn't get hurt, cool find nonetheless.

Ouch...that's painful even to look at. Makes me glad I just cut in the woods.

I'd love to hear the story behind how a pipewrench wound up inside of a tree. Sorry to hear about your chain. Funny how seeing that picture gives one a feeling akin to watching someone get punched below the belt. Nice picture none the less. Thanks for sharing.

What? You guys never heard of a Board Stretcher? Well, that tool is a Trunk Wrench.

My saw was looking over my shoulder, and now he's in the corner holding his privates.....
