Cutting a 40" maple, this was stuck in the crotch for who knows how long. By the time I noticed it ripped a bunch of teeth off

Wow. My chains have seen embedded barbed wire more times than I'd like to admit, but never a pipe wrench. That's a helluva find.

I'd love to hear the story behind how a pipewrench wound up inside of a tree. Sorry to hear about your chain. Funny how seeing that picture gives one a feeling akin to watching someone get punched below the belt. Nice picture none the less. Thanks for sharing.
