Thanks but I can get the carb kits locally. Looks like I'm going to need a complete carb. Apparently the low jet set screw is stripped inside the carb body. I haven't seen it since I'm not actually doing the carb work, me and carbs don't always get along so well. However, the low screw will not stay in position once it's set, after a very short time it moves into a full open position, I'm assuming it vibrates and turns. We replaced the tensioning springs but that didn't help at all.

Any of you seen this before?

I checked out all of the 630`s I have here and they have Tillotson HS 225 carbs on them, must be a bigger carb on the super.

Banta's got a new carb and I may have found a guy with a 670 parts saw with a working carb. The 670 does have a different carb than the 630.
