wow, never seen a bar that long before. must have to keep the chain pretty tight when laying it over to do a notch. no tree's that big around here for a bar like that 48" is about the max here. they could probably put a couple more logo's on that bar too. definately a 2 person job to put a chain on it as well. lol
 
It does. New crank case and bearings. New OEM piston and a mild porting.

An Oregon 75JGX chain will cost me $57.75 shipped from Baileys. Yup, that's 2/3 what I paid for the bar, lol.

Yes I am. I'm compensating for the lack of trees that big to cut around here. Actually that Burr Oak I showed pics of last Thanksgiving would take this and more to go all the way through.

You know it's not the size of the bar, it's how you make the bore cut. :)
 
Ok I have a stupid question. What power unit do you have with that bar. On my Blackberry the pics are blurry. Also, do you have an extra oiler for that long of a bar or will the power unit supply enough oil to cover it?
