wow, never seen a bar that long before. must have to keep the chain pretty tight when laying it over to do a notch. no tree's that big around here for a bar like that 48" is about the max here. they could probably put a couple more logo's on that bar too. definately a 2 person job to put a chain on it as well. lol

I thought it would have holes for the handle, but it doesn't. You would have to start a horizontal cut with a shorter bar and then lay this one in it to get going.

You know it's not the size of the bar, it's how you make the bore cut.

Since it is for show, I would go with .404. Or hell even 3/4" harvester chain.

Ok I have a stupid question. What power unit do you have with that bar. On my Blackberry the pics are blurry. Also, do you have an extra oiler for that long of a bar or will the power unit supply enough oil to cover it?
