lucky score..Stihl 084

been restoring a busted up old 084 for an arborist friend of mine and he told his local stihl shop how awesome it came up. hang on a sec they say, and come back and dropped this on the counter and said here, have a crack as this one... your's to keep but its only good for parts i reckon.
hope they are wrong.

Well finally got my hands on this saw. It's in better nick than the last one I reserected.
Just a couple of bad injuries.
Like busted ring in the exhaust port


But the biggy. Cracked crank.


Interesting the gasket was sucking itself in!




Bar and chain are going in the bin. Absolute junk.
