maine first class exam?

what is the format of the tree identification section? picture id, or samples?

any advice on studying?

thanks ttk; to clarify, i am taking the maine state first class exam, not the isa exam
 
Its a Joke. Id's are a joke. Common species, pine, spruce, birch, poplar, ash elm...all very idenifiable. The whole test is a joke, i took it when I was 17 if that tells you anything.
If you know anything about tree work, and trees you'll be fine.
I think the id section is picture..

Hey Zev, The maine test isn't bad at all.# Like they said before, poplar, ash, maple, spruce, fir.# Your basics.# I honestly don't remember if it's sample or pic...I THINK it was pics.# Anyway, good luck!
