I picked up a 056 Av last weekend. Got it all cleaned up( it was one of more filthy saws I had ever seen) and after reading Lakes thread on his 056 I decided paint it up. I by no means took the time he did, but it does look much better. The kill switch wire had a bare spot and it was shorting out. Heat shrink took care of that problem. It runs and cuts great, but I was wanting to check the carb setting with my tach. What is the max RPM's for this old beastly saw.
