The lower tank/rear handle from any 10 Series with the lever operated DSP will work. Many times they used the same tank/handle on non DSP models and simply didn't finish the extra holes.

I have one NOS tank/handle at home waiting to hear back from another member for a 6-10 resurrection, if that doesn't happen it would be available for you Lee. Not sure to where the photo's disappeared.

Mark this LG-6 has no DSP or operator presence lever. It has the funky
shut off switch that you push down to lock the throttle.

I believe you will find that funky throttle lock is (should be) the DSP control as well. I don't have access to my computer at this moment, but my Super LG-6 has the lever operated DSP like the 6-10 and CP70 saws. I would think yours does as well

I bought mine off ebay a few years ago. Used to see them pop up for sale every
now and then but I haven't seen any for sale in quite some time.
I don't know anyone in Aus that would have one but you could try Terry Ives
in Granite Bay Ca. he's a big kart guy and has a good supply of parts.

Are these just a standard external (male) Torx head bolt? If they are, Sears and others carry socket sets for them. Your socket should have a TXX size stamped on it.

Don't believe they are torx. Probably a standard spline head size. When Brian gets done with my wrench, I will try and determine the size.

Its a special socket.

I should clarify I meant the star bits. Got them with a craftsman set many years ago so don't know their proper name.

Sears sockets WILL NOT work on the Mac heads. The lands are flat as are the bottoms of the grooves.
