buzz - I know I've done it but I don't remember any details other that the plug/screw comes out of the bottom and the whole assembly comes out that way.
If you don't have an IPL let me know and I can try to send one, they are pretty big files.

Just picked up a mcculloch 300. Turns over but in need of TLC. Should I post it or give it a scrap metal guy?
Thanks Mark, I'll see if I have an ipl. What you sent may be enough. The saw runs great, just needs a prime to start. Found the cup on ebay last month.
Checking around, but I am hoping to find some standard bore thin rings, part # 58353, for my 895. You could drive a truck through this gap. Manual says it's supposed to be .004 to .012. If I strike out with OEM, I'm thinking about trying some Pioneer thin rings.
Inventory says I have them Chris, $24.95 + shipping.
Come up with some other stuff to help spread out the shipping cost.

Nice. How about the piston pin bearings? 62867 and 62868. The ones I used came out of another NOS piston and I'd like to replace them.
Chris - I sent a PM. Looks like I have all the parts, but the bearings are different numbers. I'd like you to confirm the dimensions are .5x.6875x.5, one open end one closed end.
I have the pawl springs as well.

Just finished replacing the cup. It was a little tight going over the bottom of the plunger but it works fine now. I know because first thing I did was flood it. Need to adjust the idle speed, will post a video.

It's a little longer than the original but fits and works well.
Friends at work got me a shirt for a retirement gift!
I had some on eBay and only sold 1 in a year so I took them down ??
Try listing again. I hated to pay that much but figured I'd never find another one and the saw was free. The 33 is a pain to start cold without a prime since it has no choke.
Does anyone know anyone who would re ring a thin ring Mac 1-72? I have 90# compression, p&c look pristine and saw is really clean. Rings do move so there not stuck or frozen.

Does anyone have a lead on p&c for a pm700? Or is Lil Red Barn the only place that makes pistons?

I sold my last PM700 NOS cylinder two weeks ago. I have NOS 7-10 cylinders. Same cylinder just pre electronic ignition. PM me if you want more information.
Probably post it, might be what a guy needs to get another saw running???
