There's not a whole lot of difference between a 2-10 and a 10-10 as far as working on them is concerned. Lot of the parts will interchange I would think. If you like your 10-10 you'll like the 2-10 also..Don't know the carb as I haven't seen the saw yet in person just pics. Loud is ok by me, have a pro mac10-10 and a 650 so I know loud.
Love my pro mac 10-10 just found a new in package McCulloch NOS chain for her on ebay (less than $15 shipped). Goes thru seasoned cherry logs like a hot knife thru butter. They just don't make 'em like this anymore that's for sure. Guess I'll be checking out that 2-10 hoping it has the Walbro. There's not a whole lot of difference between a 2-10 and a 10-10 as far as working on them is concerned. I don't know if they still have kits for those carburetors. I'd change it over, plenty of parts saws around with bad pistons, just take the stuff off one of those. A 10-10 would do.Anyone know anyone that deals in NOS carb kits for mccullochs?
I just googled it and it showed a fuel pump for a flat back carburetor and it cost more than a parts saw would, and that was just one part.Anyone know anyone that deals in NOS carb kits for mccullochs?
