Hey I got a quick question. My dad bought a small McCulloch trim saw at a garage sale. I am unsure about the model, but he did some real basic clean up to it, then started it up. It ran for a short period of time, then got hot and wouldn't start back up. What could be causing this problem? Everything from the outside of the saw appears to be ok. I didn't see anything odd, so I am hoping to get some insight here, thanks....

If it is like my dads trimming saw a 120. His vapor locks when hot. Been doing it since he bought it new.

Yes vapour locks are one thing but if the engine has a fair bit of wear and tear with excessive piston to bore clearance the same thing happens.
