"I have this old saw............." That be a Mcculloch Super Pro 60. This use to be our main firewood saw when I was a kid (that was 30 years ago). Gave it a pull the other day and it actually turns over. Didn't fire, but it ain't ceased either. Is it worth fixxing up for a third saw,..or should I just hang it on the big shed wall, next to the horse drawn plow??

Anyone know any particulars about it,..hp and such??

Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to me about 10 years ago with my vintage 1978 Mac 610. The Walbro carb got varnished up a little and needed cleaning inside.

After I did that with some mineral spirits and adjusted the throttle screws to factory specs, she ran like the day I carried her home from the shop.

Fix that big Mac and keep her! Meanwhile, if you got some spare bread lying around, go buy a new Stihl. Use the old Mac as a backup.
