Motoseal and Bar oil

Probably a stupid question, but will Motoseal work well for sealing two halves of a bar oil tank?

I should think so it does motorcycle case halfs which hold oil.

only scenario here it wouldn't is if you planned on using it externally on a leak which already assembled cases developed. otherwise, many people use motoseal on the gasket. i like loctite 515 or 518 alot better for that application though.

I know ThreeBond 1194 will seal both halves for mix and bar oil, plus do crankcases.
