MS 250 problem

Howdy, all. It's been a while since I've posted in here.

Anywho, I've got a coworker's MS 250 here that is starting to irritate me. He said the saw was getting low on power and hard to start. I brought it home, checked it out and it also wanted to shut off after coming back down from WOT. Fine, new carb. New carb is on and there is better power but it still likes to shut down after cutting and coming back down to idle. Ideas?

Impluse hose unhooked behind carburetor? Cracked fuel hose?

Check the impulse line and also the fuel line. Also back off (toward rich) the low screw about 1/2 turn to see what it does. Those three things are usually the culprit.
