MS 241 C-M 16

3005 000 4813

63PS3 55

0000 792 9173

$549.95

428.96

431.76

450.86

It doesn't copy well, the top price is the suggested retail.
The lower prices are for a large saw order, the $450 figure is for an order of 1-74 units.
The $428. price is for and order of 275+ units.....

I would think profit margins are pretty slim for most dealerships.

Parts and service can be the gravy for these guys trying to keep thier doors open.

I would think you beat the snot outta' the guy at the counter on a saw,,,you'd be a return customer to buy parts...

#integrity....
Yeah, it is hard to pay the bills with "gravy".....

Socialism!
No, socialism would be the dealer buying the 275 saws. You, I, and a handful of others would go in and pay full retail for our saws. Most of the rest of the lot would be sold for a slight discount, but only if they were used to provide wood for the owners of the rest of the saws, because they were unable to use them for one reason or another.

Providing there was fuel to operate the the mass produced saws missing vital parts.

With the size of the box, the cost to ship both saws is likely the same as if there was only 1 in there......

Each saw had its own box and shipping label.

Wow guys, how did I become such a bad guy from buying a saw. What's with the negative comments on me? Also why did Harley think I was lying?

Nobody thinks you're a bad guy, that is a good deal on that saw. You gotta remember fi..err.. I mean Harley has probably forgotten more about small engines than you and me ever knew about. Did ya cut the tree and if so did it do good.

No one said that you were bad.

A common occurence here on these forums, especially in winter, is guys making bogus posts, starting a lot of threads,
asking a million questions, saying a lot of things that don't make sense.

You said a few things, including the one about the synthetic bar oil, that set off a bogus alarm.
So the thread about complaining about a dealer selling you a saw $80 under his cost, well, that set of a serious bogus alarm...

You have posted 140 posts about this MS241, you will overtake Brad in a year with that posting rate.

No sir. I have that many posts on this saw because I wanted to learn from the best. You guys rock! I know I made the right choice on this saw. It's been raining all day, but I did get to cut up a couple of Trees we pushed up in the yard. And some dry pine about 10 inches. Not a very good test but the saw cuts marvelously!!!!!!!

By the way, this particular Southern States store is quite old, but they had never had a 241 or 261.
