Have a jred 2159 that I’m attempting to swap a non cat muffler onto . Problem is that the bolt heads are nonexistent. I’m not shure how to get ahold of them to get them out . If they weren’t so deeply Recessed I would drill em and get an easy out in them that doesn’t seem possible any ideas??15722BB8-32B1-4265-8C93-97338B726AF3.jpegB878456C-9ADF-4FE5-9468-A3B4B02EB08E.jpeg1FEB3907-F7E0-4111-BA52-0CE0F7C1A070.jpeg

They Allen heads. That is if they are OEM. Look down in there with a small light and you'll see.

Ya I know they are hex keys and assuming they are the same size as the rest of the bolts on the saw they’re rounded/rotted to the point where I can’t ge a grab on em

They 5mm hex. Put some penetrating oil in there with saw standing up and try in about 30 minutes to break them loose

If youre swapping out the muffler and dont care about the old one it seems like angle grinder and metal cutoff wheel time you know "create" some access to the bolt heads so then you can drill / heat / weld something to them and back em out
