I won a timber bid through the state, with the minimum bid. The stand is just a few miles from the house. 85 Red Pine around 14MBF"ish" and 90 Norway Spruce 15MBF"ish" with just 20 culls. The stand is just off the landing from a previous sale. Monday I fill out the paper work and hopefully Tuesday start cutting. This is mostly small diameter stuff, straight and tall - perfect for Joe Hobbyist like my self. The little LL24 will be doing some work. Most of the boards will be made into v-panel and some framing. I will take pictures during each step and post. I hope you all have a great Holiday.
