When I had my 357xp, I thought it pulled a 20" bar very well and I never noticed a balance issue at all. I did like the weight of it better with the 18" though.

Well, as you know, it did seem like a brand new saw
And a very good running saw at that!
The 20" you sent with it, is heavy. I'll get a 20" Oregon Prolite at some point.
It is much lighter and handles better with the 18" Sugihara. And yes, it pulls the 20" just fine.
