this came in with four other parts saws i bought on ebay
the serial is 220620793 any clues would be helpful one thing i know is it came with an aluminum front handle it bolts with no mods on my stihl ms 260 pro.
the saw recoil says " Manufactured by Stihl USA Virginia Beach USA":help: :help:
inside of clutch cover says:121 1121080 1805
coil has: 9 310
by carb: 1121
onth back of the coil housing:911 21 021 0701

Almost looks like an 034 or 026

since we're just guessing (not much left) I'm going to guess 028 due to slotted screws, not torx.

024 or 026. Definitely not 028. The slotted screws are "aftermarket".

thats what i fagured

if it is a 26 then i can list on ebay easier with cofindence. i swaped the front handle bar with my ms260 pro and it fit like a glove. the saw is good condition.
the gas tank and handle is scratched but not cracked what is this thing worth.

It looks like an 026, but measure the pistonn - if it's 44mm, then it's an 026; if not and it's 42mm, it's an 024 super.

it measures 1and 3/4'inches across the top of the piston.

Thats close to 44mm = 1.73in

44.2 mm = 1.74in

i thank all you for your help.
if it is a 26 then what piston jugs besides the 26 will fit this thing. it may be worth puting some old parts off ebay on this old ugly thing and make me a hot saw.

Just the 026.. Most parts will fit the 024S

Nope, it tells that it is from the 026/024 family, as the looks also do.

I looked further. I agree 026. The first part that came up with 1121 was for a 038.
