First i would like to know if it's even possible to propagate a birch branch that is about 1' 6" tall and has a branch girth of about an inch.
I'll post a picture tomorrow, but please tell me how to propagate this cutting.

Did you scar the base and dip it in rooting hormone?

Outside of a willow tree I don't think you can use that large of a cutting, but what do I know. I'd fill a bucket with coarse sand and/or peat moss and make sure it stays moist and wait->see.

Right now it's in a vase filled with water...i don't have the rooting hormone yet, but i ordered some and it should be here any day.

Pluck the leaves off it & see if the wife/girlfriend wants to play. :hmm3grin2orange:

Only kidding, that thing is toast, Birches are cheap, go buy one with roots.
