I rebuilt a stihl 090 a while back and I have hit a major snag. It seems that the impulse from the crankcase is drawing oil back into the crankcase and drowning my saw in bar oil such that it won't start.
When I removed the oiler to examine I studied the parts diagrams and found that I am missing 2 tiny, albeit crucial parts. One is the "cup" #1106 647 2800 and the other is the "rubber cap" #1106 647 9200 as per the parts list. They both fit between the oiler diaphragm and the body of the saw but I'd like to see a pic to make sure I've got them right.
Does anyone have an 070/090 in tear-down that they can photograph these components for me? Or explain in English how they should fit?
