put 5 psi air pressure in the oil tank with it running, see if that primes it, plugged vent maby?

I got a parts 1 a good 1 a converted to 4000 1 and an original 4000. Smooth running saws solid little buggers.
Actually my modern saws lol. Compared to the 10 series Mac's I run.
You must have a few gems?

Good old 250.
Find ya self a 10 series. Much much muuuuuch nicer built and to work on than the 600. Just an engine with an oil tank at 1 end and a fuel tank n carb box on top. The engine is the chassis so there pretty light unless a pro mac.
7-10 or 700 or the ultimate 82s the 57s and 60s are snotty too the 57s are like a ported version of the 54. Just don't look on ebay at the moment prices gone crazy

10-10S was the last one I worked on and Im in it deep. Probably $300. And I still need a muffler cover.
And those 330's. Remembering what av went where was another assembly issue.
I have a handful of old Homelite saws in my collection, but the 330 is one that I'd leave on the shelf if I saw one for sale. Every saw manufacturer has models that fall well below their norm, the 330 is one of those from my perspective.
