Pulled the trigger on a new J-red 2258. Traded the Solo in with the deal. Told my dealer I had been looking at the 2255, and he shook his head side to side and said they're junk. Has one in right now that's only a year old, and it leaks like a sieve between the cases. He won't even carry the cheaper models. Told me not to leave this saw idle for longer than 3 minutes with the computer in it. Goes to idle setting and won't go back to cut mode until you've sawed continuous for about 3 minutes. Will try her out this afternoon and see how she cuts.

That's a good looking saw. Congrats. I haven't tried the 2258 yet, but from what I have heard it sounds like a great saw.

I had a 2260 for awhile as a demo saw. only complaint i can really come up with is the obscenely small bucking spikes really irritated me. Other than that it was a nice saw to run.
