Outstanding. I just got mine running today. Picked it up a few weeks ago for 60 bux. All original and complete, but was dirty as all get out. Was fortunately stored without fuel in the tank and fired first pull with a direct prime. Took a while to get the diaphragm pliant and the funk washed thru, but it purrs like a tiger now.

But you still suck.:hmm3grin2orange:

All kidding aside, there's an old school Stihl dealer just up the road from me that may indeed have a NOS b/c setup for an 08S if no one else chimes in with a source for ya. Be happy to check.

Hey Pogo,
That would be great. It would be the one with the big stripes on it. Let me know when you get a chance. :cool2:

Nice. Im happy for you. I grew up with an 08S. The only saw we ever had until I was about 17, then daddy got the 2094.
I dont think he ever realized what a jump that was. Taking absolutely nothing away from the 08S. To this day the 08S will fire right up.

I'll nominate this one for "Find of the Year" :D

Thats freakin awesome. You'll be the envy of Brad Snelling and many others. It's hard to believe you can still find a saw like that NIB.

Makes you wonder how many old killer saws like 08's, 090's, 076's, Mac 125's and etc., are somewhere sitting in the world, brand new in a box hidden away. ;)

This was an purely accidental find. I have the box it came in with the orignai warrenty too, I give $300 for it which I think is a pretty good price. :msp_biggrin:

I don't normally buy anything old other than Stihl 040's and 041's, but I just could not pass this one up.

Accident on whose account? Yours or the guy that had it.

Nice find BTW!
