New Tanaka in the stable

my buddy Tyler gave it to me last night.still gonna give him a few bucks for it.even though he said merry christmas.
yeap its an ECS505.luckily 506 parts are still available.

Looks new to me nice project though. I sure like saving the old ones, and you sure don't see those every day.

The rest of its still in his shed i'll get the air filter,cover,etc.in a day or so.i already rebuilt the carb back in the spring for him.going to put the gas tank gasket and a few other pieces on order later.
Cant wait to get this one started.seems to have some major compression.

Those old Tanaka saws are built like tanks, pretty similar to the Echos of the same era. Heck I like the new ones too.
