Spent the day constructing a 12 x 20 pad topped with crushed stone. I was tired of hauling wood on my ice fishing sled all winter so now I have space for about 10 cords next to the OWB. I plan on making this the woodshed next spring. Materials: 17 RR ties, 52-10" Timberlock screws and 8 yards of crushed stone. Done with mini-excavator with rubber tracks (lawn pretty much intact)
I have some work to do moving that wood over now.:)

Looks very nice, and the wood should dry there better, since it looks like your current stacks are in the tree line and pretty heavily shaded.

Good work, and make sure the shed construction gets lots of pics.

Very clean. I am curious how you will truck the wood in. You look like you have a lot of money invested in your grass...will your truck or tractor leave ruts?

LOL!!!! I built this house myself in 2003. I got a quote to hydroseed for $6500. I told them to pound sand. For $300 I bought 150 pounds of seed and spread it myself with my tow behind spreader mixed with starter fertilizer. I lucked out as it rained every other day for 2 weeks. I do not fertilize at all...the damn grass needs to be cut every 5 days if I do. Just mulch it back in. I am growing kids not a lawn. To answer your question, I have a tow behind trailer for my tractor about 5 loads does a full cord. I had a 5 axle straight truck on the lawn in May and it left no ruts. Thanks all for the nice words. I got my first cord moved over this afternoon. I had a 24x24 PVC tarp from a flatbed tractor trailer that I cut to 18x24 to cover it all at once.

That looks really nice! Gonna tarp it or what?

One thing I don't understand, though. 10 cords? It doesn't look anywhere near that big to me. Just how big is that, anyway? How high are you going to stack it?
