Now I know why Black Locust is in demand

I scrounged some Black Locust logs that were seasoned and put them in the insert for the first time last night. Nice difference from the Maple and Sycamore that I was burning. Too bad I don't run across them more often. I'll definately keep an eye out for some in the future!!!

I just brought up a load from around the big white oak I'm working on. It's been either dead standing or just off the ground so it's good to go right now. Burns hot and long!
