Each September Inman, Georgia holds a Farm Heritage Day festival. I took the camera along and interviewed a gentleman displaying a working vintage sawmill originally powered by steam. I thought some on the forum might find it interesting:

Great interview! Sawmilling is alot of work, but it gets in your blood real quick!! I would really like to rescue an old circular sawmill, restore and put back into service for me personally. Thank you for sharing the link.

Thanks for the vid!!!! That is quite a mill he has there. I wouldn't know what to do with 10,000bf/day LOL I don't know if I could get enough logs. But i'd sure try

Doesn't matter what it is, if the person loves doing it then it's a pleasant thing to see. Well, I can think of a few not so pleasant things .... but you get the point.
