REQUIRED:
Storybook Tree Services Inc. is looking for professional climbers/arborists/ground support crew for our operations in Oakville, Ontario. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of tree service experience. Our head office and yard is located in Oakville and we operate mostly in Oakville, Burlington and Mississauga. DETAILS:
Performs tree care duties SAFELY: Pruning, removing, inspecting, brush chipping. Operates specialized arboricultural equipment including: chainsaws, chippers, tree climbing saddles and ropes. Controls traffic around work-site, answers questions, and provides information and recommendations about tree services. Reports maintenance needs to us. Follows and readily accepts oral and written instructions related to tree work, maintains work schedule set by the project coordinator, completes routine paperwork and daily time sheets. Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task, follows safety rules and maintains safe working conditions. Working conditions may include: All weather conditions; extreme temperatures; confined spaces; heights, exposure to loud noises and dusts/allergens. Must have manual dexterity and be comfortable climbing of ladders; lifting and moving up to 60 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Punctual attendance and availability for work
- Ability to pull, push, and lift up to 60 lbs
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
- ISA Certification is an asset
- Ability to work in trees at significant heights
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, office staff and management
- Demonstrated stable work history and work ethic
PAY:
$18-30/hour
