Definatley bring some $$$ I think a few might be interested in some new to the market saws that I just ran. For a stock saw.... I was impressed

Maybe I'll bring my Lancaster 318. It's quite a novelty, doesn't run real good but it looks wicked. I've only really cut one decent round with it. It is cool to see that big chain going around at a whopping 4000 rpm.

i'd love to make it but i don't think im gonna be able to. if the weather is decent ive gotta go to the woods..after not getting to work much the last 6 months i gotta get out there every chance i can get. i want to bad..but its just not in the cards. ive been kicking around the idea of having a gtg here in S. IL..i'm pretty sure one of the sawmills i cut for would let me do it there..or have it out at my farm(in the boonies!!)..one of my other buddies has a mill 1 mile away that the cants could be cut on

LOL...I'm here at work...won't be able to make it. They offered OT so I took it. With gas at $3.65/gallon here it would cost me well over $400 dollars to be there between the missed OT and the gas bill. I sure hope you guys have a good time and take plenty of pictures.

Well, I'm home. That was a LONG day, but worth it. Up at 5:30 with 4 hours sleep and home about 9:30. The weather held out and we had a great time. I'm working on the pics and video to be posted later. Thanks Kevin and Derek for a great time. Oh, and the ribs were great!

The pics are done. The complete gallery with original size can be found HERE

+1 on the ribs. Is it Kevin and Derek that supplied those? Honestly, I did not plan on eating anything. That was too good to resist. It was a good time. Nice to see all of the big saws. Nice to meet you guys too. Hey were you guys from PA driving back home tonight? Six hour drive and 3 hours to pack saws back in the trunk. You should be home by morning. My kids had a good time (for the first hour). They said it would have been better if they got to cut. They are going to have to wait a while. I spent many years loading before ever touching a saw. Thanks again to the guys that put this on. Let me know who provided all of the ribs and brats. Couldn't live with myself if I didn't pitch in after stuffing my face.

The GTG was held at Derek's place. The wood and food was provided by Kevin. Rob and Daron were not heading back to PA tonight. They were getting a motel. We didn't leave the restauraint until about 7:00. Glad you were able to make it.
