Great old time pic. back in the '40's, it took three guys and some grunt work to do what one could do today in 1/4 the time.
Would still like a shot on that old saw tho. Was it a family picture??

I bet they didnt think they were signing up to be loggers when they joined the army. Cool pic. As far as PPE, dodging bullets and mortars was probably more dangerous than running that saw

That doesn't look like any fun at all, considering those Dolmar CLs weigh about 140 pounds fully equipped. Great picture though. Yeah, I'm down for getting a Dolmar CL myself to put in the two-man collection.

nice pic. It's an early version Dolmar CL (cooling fins and muffler are different on early versions). Very well built imo.
