I don't have any saws that I would NEVER sell. The least likely I would sell would be my Husky 266. It was my first real saw. Even though I'm a Stihl dealer, that saw earned me a bunch of money back in the day.

I would never part with either my Stihl MS 361 or my Makita 6400 BBK. Then again, I have about six more that will never leave the roost either. That includes my MS 660 that awaits really big stuff and every Echo that I own.

But wait a minute. How could I part with any of my Macs that got me into this business? They all run.

My 044 no doubt and my 550xp. If I ever find a deal on a 395xp to fix I'm pretty sure i would never sell it either. Hint hint for someone who may have one they want to part with.

I can understand holding on to saws with sentimental attachment (such a Jerry with his dad's saw), but all the rest are just tools. Sure some may be modified and some may run better than others, but in the end unless it is a rare saw it can be replaced.

There are some I would sell before others, but I can't think of any I could not live without. Of course there will be disagreements on the proper value which might mean some would never sell.

Mcculloch Super Pro 125 I fought a hard battle at an auction to win it and was worth it among other things that came up like my wife calling to see if I dropped my daughter off at a play date with a friend (wife was in AZ at the time, work) and at the 1pm time she was to be at the house when we were actually at the auction 60 miles away hammering out a bidding war for the saw. Won the saw, asked the guy in the four wheeler (four seater model) if they would take us up to to pay for the saw so I could get on down the road before I ended up getting served divorce papers when my wife got back into town.........priceless.

My son and daughter somehow have survived this one time event.

I have attached some sort of sentimental value to a few saws. My dads 031AVE, my grandfather's 056 are a couple that come to mind. A couple others hold a special place as well..
