I recently bought a display model of a Ryobi chainsaw. It lacks an oil plug.

DO you know where I can get parts for this chainsaw?

That was almost not worth your energy typing

That can't have been worth your energy to even type. Obviously, the chainsaw--if you've read anything on it--doesn't show up on the Ryobi site.

It's a re-badged Red Max GZ4000, and the tanklag part number I'm looking for is 410755.

But thanks miles for your conceit.

I'll treat

But I'll tell you what, sparky.

I'll treat you to a large fries and a delicious milkshake if you can find me the gas cap I'm looking for.

I ment no offense, sorry if you took it that way.

You asked about parts for a ryobi. I will see if I can find any thing and let you know if I do. :)

Medic,
You are a much nicer person than I am.

I think it is great that you are here on this site. I went to my parts lookups
to look for the part, but abandoned the project when I saw his next few posts..

Calling someone "Sparky" is just too much to bear.........................

Seriously, your effort is appreciated and not unnoticed.

Give the boy some good rep guys!!!

I will even break tradition and do that too.

Sparkey is a name that I use on another site. He must know me from there.
I tend to be a little abrupt some times. If I am really amazed at a question I just won't answer it rather than offending some one. I am here to learn just like every one else.

If I dont know or dont care to get involved I take some advice from an old friend who said..."Never pass up an oportunity to shut up."

:givebeer:

Well Sparky is a fine name, I just assumed he was a "Nash Bridges" fan.

As far as being abrupt, I have never been accused of that......................

Glad I could generate some interest

Happy I was able to generate some interestin a general sense, but sorry to have been a creep this morning. BC (before coffee).

I appreciate your time!!

calvin

There you go. Danashields I hope some of this helped you find what you need.

We are all friends here sharing a common interest (love)

Like every one we all get a little fired up now and then.

I stared out as a volunteer Fire fighter and decided to become a professional paramedic which I do now. I work on an oil and gas platform in the Gulf of Mexico as a medic. (14 days on and 14 off) I was a mechanic for 25 years before that.

Nice to meet you guys.

Well, I hope in a non-gay way............................

Actually a couple of us are just here for profit, and the chicks that our good rep will attract. Or is that chics?

I guess we are all motivated by money (and chicks or is it ducks?)
we either want to make money or save money.
