Good looking saw. My favorite by far. Open that muffler up or get a dual port cover for it. If you've got a rotary file, all you need to do is open up the existing hole in the body. Make sure to retune it when done.

I opened up the stock hole to 1/2 inch. Should I go bigger? if so how big?

The "older" mufflers had an 18mm opening and 1/2" is around 13mm.

You can either go bigger or go DP cover, but DP cover has more cool factor!

Muffler now has 3/4 inch (19MM) opening and also lowered the baffle just a touch.

Now I am ready to paint and was wondering if there is any reason to paint the inside of the muffler and cover?

I was planning on using BBQ / Stove paint any other suggestions?
