Posted a few days ago about building custom splitters. I only have one done that i've kept local and that i use every day. i had some cell phone pictures of it, but they were small and not so good.

so this morning i took some more, this is a pretty basic one its about 2 years old now and probably has close to 50 cord through it. no problems.

yeah i made the wedge, those generally take longer than anything else on the splitter.

that splitter has an 11gpm barnes pump and its a 4x24 cylinder, if memory serves there are almost 15 gallons of fluid in that system. never once had a problem with air in the oil or running too hot with that much fluid, but i'll keep that in mind and maybe try it out on one of the new ones. i'm making up the hydraulic tank for another horizontal this weekend, i'll try it and see if it makes any difference.
