I have this gigantic oak tree that's fallen in my yard, well, about half of it did, the other half is still standing.
I'm not going to pay someone to come cut it up for firewood and I'm in the process of clearing off the branches and limbs with leaves.
I measured around the standing oak trunk and it's about 14 feet, going straight across the sheared side.
There's also a huge cherry underneath that the oak took out on the way down.

I'm wondering if there's anyone in my area, or willing to travel, who would be able to make something nice with this wood.
If not, I'll let Nature have it's way with it and enjoy looking at it another twenty years.
The standing part is not on my property, but the fallen wood is.

let me know if you're interested.
