I have had problems with mice time to time. My newly purchased Hobart gas engine welder Kohler powered had the twin cylinders full of insulation, mice nests. Even my cub cadets get mice nests in the cowls. I’m worried about mice getting in the larger round added exhaust port and building a nest? Has anyone had a problem yet?

We have like 15 +/- barn cats. Mice are kinda rare around here. 😁 Plus one on keeping screens in, if you're talking about chainsaws.

Put these in the barns, ~ 1-gal water. Smear some peanut butter on the bottle and dress with some sunflower seeds. Make sure the bottle spins free and is balanced

Use a scrap board for a vermin ramp. Check every couple days to dump and refresh the water. They never get the bait. Squirrels will steal the bait, rat traps or shoot them
