I picked this up a the the flea for 35 bucks. They said it was running but just stopped. I emptied the fuel, checked fuel line, checked compression (150). Added new fuel, hit with seafoam and fired right up. Doesn't even need a carb adjustment.

Now trying to decide if I tell the guy at the flea what was wrong with it like he asked. I assume it was bad gas, but what do I know. Maybe they weren't holding their mouth right.

i wouldn't say a word,,,someday he might have another good deal like that,,,,,if he knew how easy it was to fix then he would do the same thing and want more monry

I've seen them run for a few minutes then stop. The culprit is a degraded & stuck duckbill valve in the gas cap. I just remove it rather than get a new cap.
