Problem with 576

You might check to see if it has a 7 or 8 pin sproket. My 575 came with an 8 pin, when that wore out I gave it a 7 pin, I could tell the difference. But if the saw if a total turd it won't fix things.

Otherwise its the usual suspect that I'm sure the shop knows about, air leaks, loose or faulty coil, cracked worn kill switch and spark plug wires, low compression, bee nest in the muffler, all that junk.

If you think that the carb is the problem I suggest trying to set the High while your in the cut, but be careful, its dangerous you know. Last time I did it my buddy held the saw with constant light pressure (no sea-sawing of course) in the cut while I twisted on it.
