When I go North to help a buddy cut pulp there is a saw shop that sells Essence brand oil in bulk. Bring your own jugs and it's about $7.25/gallon. It is by far the best oil I have used.

The Stihl shop is in Pigeon Falls. A real shop that works on saws unlike the John Deere stealerships.

I lived in that metro area from 55 to 64. Sad to see they took the old school building down.

They had it when I was in our local one last week. FVP brand I think. The price is higher now, like maybe $7/gallon and the shape of the jug is different.

I'm still using up my stash from when it went on sale last summer. I think I bought two cases. I am pleased with it so far, though it is quite thick. I'll probably thin it down with kerosene this winter. Of course what's in the jug now might be totally different.

$5.99 a gallon at Rural King. They have standard, all season and winter. No complaints.

Closest Menard’s to you is 237.4 miles away in Warren OH. Not worth the trip.

I bought a gallon last time it was on sale for this price. Haven't tried it yet tho, anybody tried it? What do you think of it?

No issues here, works well.

I have been using it for three plus years. Also run it in a firewood processor. We do around 20 cord a year and the oil seems to hold up well.
