We keep hearing how ISA/TCIA etc. should fund advertising campaigns to get the word out about what we do.
Members often seek more from their organizations, without using what's there already.

Hello--they already are! Forwarding info like this http://tcia.org/blog/business/tree-pruning-purpose can go a long way to educate our potential clients. If you value your time, it's a lot more cost-effective than just talking to them. ISA also has a boatload of useful stuff.

Tchukki does a great job explaining why we MUST establish the job objective, before selling or doing the work. It doesn't matter how you prune or anything else--you are violating the A300 Tree Care Standard and asking for trouble if you go to the 'What' without first understanding the 'Why'.
