Question/ back up saw

...just wanted to say that you have a very thoughtful wife there.

It gets cold in Michigan and I bet she thinks the wood pile won't last the winter.
You could be thoughtful as well and get her a new saw!
My wife would love to be able to run a small saw, she is happy to run the splitter.
Two 066,one MS660, an 038, couple of 028 and plenty of old Macs etc.
If I want to keep her on the splitter I shouldn't look at any smaller saws. She wants to try a Poulan Pro electric on a generator!! Watch the cord!!!!!!!!!
