My wife asked me if it was a toy, lol Looks like a red bubble saw.

Do you think the 3500T also has a Zenoah motor and would be pro built
construction like the 3800?

That may be all I do to this thing since it's a clamshell tophandle.

It's just too hard working on a small clamshell cylinder.

It is a clamshell engine.

just ordered one after watching the video. Will be a perfect climbing saw with a 12" bar for limbing 6" and down anything bigger and I will get my 260 pro or ms361. I cant believe the dry weight of 7.3lbs.

Yeah, you wouldn't usually use this saw with the bar buried like I did, but it still give you a good idea of its power. It is not prone to bogging at all even with the bar buried. It comes with a safety chain. I ground all that junk off of it. I have a WoodlandPro 30LP I can use as well. That's my favorite 3/8 lopro chain at this point.

The handle reminds me too much of the old stihl 019t for me to buy one . That was the biggest POS stihl ever made imo.

Sounds good, cuts good.

You next project: see what you can get out of a 34cc old-style Echo (3400, 3450, etc.) or one of those Tanaka/Makita/Dolmar top-handles. Per a conversation I had with Big Dave a while back, they are incredibly choked down on the exhaust side and there are respectable gains to be had in these plastic climbing saws.

The fact that the chain had hit the infeed rollers on the chipper a couple times when it was used to cut out a jam didn't help things. But it sounds decent enough, at least.

That little saw is holding its Rs in the wood well.

I'm not sure what it would compare to without having them here side by side. I wish I had a 200T to compare it to.

Going by that vid, that little saw hacks along OK, if they're reliable and don't break down from low quality components, eg switches, trigger linkages, pull cord system, electrics etc.. it'd be passable in the forest as a commercial pruning saw. 200T's on a different level, revs faster and higher, no contest there..

Anyone interested in buying this saw? I'm MUCH more comfortable with both feet on the ground and don't really need a top handle saw. I think I'll trade this thing off for a pole saw attachment for my KM110 Kombi head. I found the 3500T online for $290. This one has only had maybe 3 tanks of fuel through it. It's stock except for the modded muffler and trimmed limiter caps. I'd like $199 + shipping for it.

Such a cute little saw. Awww. I'm actually kinda tempted, but off "buying" saws and I haven't anything to trade for it.

UPDATE...After buying this saw i did a muffler mod. My first ever. I have run 16 tanks of gas threw it. no problems. I did drop it from 42' and primer bulb and stop switch popped off. nothing else. no breaks. I had a 192 and i feel this is a better saw. time will tell.

UP DATE. saw still runs like a champ. Have now dropped it twice both times from 45' plus. both times the shut off switch fell out and was lost. second time the lock on cover for air filter broke. Very durable saw. Run motul or amsoil synthetic and premium fuel at 50:1
