I know a few guys who cut the stock strap off so they could use a hardwear like the Petzl swivle and dog snaps fixed to the bridge.

The swivle then acts as a floating D that you can get twists out without unclipping.
 
i ordered one of these to try out. i found it in auto lock from a dealer in CA.(our northern nieghbors, not cali)

Do you have that thing KF??

Can you fit a fixe and one or two ends of cord on it without it being akward?
