A friend of mine is ready to finally part with his sally saw. It is complete but could use a good cleaning. Any idea what they are going for? Thanks, Marty
 
They are scarce, and rarely surface. Its been a while since Ive seen one on Ebay, post up a picture of it if you get the chance.

These were made around 1947. There not fast by any means.
They do have a cool factor to them. A nice old collector piece.

Here's mine. At the time that I made this video, I did not know how to engauge the blade. I've also since aquired the large spike that was missing on top. This one runs and is fully functional, although I've never tried cutting anything with it.

As far as value, it's really hard to say. Most people have never heard of them. You rarely ever see them, let alone see one for sale. There was one a year ago or so that supposed sold for something like $2,500. After that, several came out of the wood work, but didn't see another one sell for that kind of money. I always wondered if that was a real sale or shill bidding. I honestly have no idea of the value.

Brad, ya oughta have American Pickers come by and check it out. They're pretty sharp on antique's
 
I had the opportunity to go check one out and possible buy it and i didnt....................... damn i should have. they are cool.
