i was looking at knots to tie into a carrabiner that attaches to me for ddrt. i like the taughtline hitch (clove hitch onto itself), but a few threads on here said the scaffold hitch is better.
the thread said it is also called a fishermans knot.

from some animated knot tying gifs, it seems the scaffold knot wraps towards the bite and the fishermans knot wraps away from the bite

am i correct or am i missing something?

if i am correct, is one stronger than the other?

thx for thr help!
