scoring in 046....how bad is this

Understood, won't do it again.

I shoulda figured that wasnt necessary.

After I couldn't get it to run without introducing fuel directly, dumped the 20:1 and replaced it w 40:1. Still no joy. It only ran for a few seconds at 20:1

Dry plug is pretty telling of a fuel delivery issue unless I'm missing something....
 
well, im an idiot. installed the impulse line backwards.

so now the questions is how the **** do i get it on the right way? I assumed I had it right because that was literally the only way I could get both ends connected. been at it almost an hour now and simply cannot get the carb end out far enough to slide over the brass vac tube on the carb while staying connected to the cylinder.

would picking up a new line make this easier or harder from a geometric standpoint? The old one holds vac and pressure just fine. So does both the new and old fuel lines for anyone curious...
