I own .77 acres in Janesville Wisconsin next to the Rock River, that I will be building a home on in March 2024.
The property was covered with Black Walnut, Ash, Elm and Cherry trees and a big White Oak.
Most were split, dying and in very bad shape.
The local arborist treated the big White Oak to prevent Oak Wilt and I was able to keep one of the tall Black Walnut trees.
The rest of the trees have been removed and I want to plant various trees, including a few Sequoia Redwoods.
Cold Stream Farm in Free Soil Michigan has Sequoia Redwoods and many other trees available.
I am looking for fast growing trees that would be insect and disease resistant.
They will be used to cover the property for a place for the squirrels, wild turkeys and deer to enjoy and not are needed for shade.
I am open to any suggestions.
Thanks Pat
