I was going to leave the chain brake on and just move the saw back and forth. Saw that in another video here so it must be correct.

Haha that's funny I did that the other day to signal a 'well **** we're broke down' lol. Frayed start rope hung up somehow and threw a half hitch between the recoil cover and recoil itself, and there I sat scratching muh head and thought well default back to misery whip I guess

If you got a breaker you could size it to your bike.
